METROLINK

I helped pitch and win the Metrolink Los Angeles-area commuter rail account. The pitch focused on increasing college student ridership. I conducted man-on-the-street interviews with students and found that they set their commuting habits in the first two weeks of school. So I proposed that Metrolink offer free rides to college students for the first two weeks of the semester. The strategy won us the pitch and also worked to increase student ridership.


REDDIT STUNT

REAL-TIME INTERACTION CAMPAIGN
I oversaw a quick-strike team of six creatives producing custom replies to Redditors' comments in near-real time. Not only did we have a blast, the audience loved it, and it became Reddit's most successful campaign to date.

BUILDING A $40 BILLION TECH COMPANY’S BRAND FROM SCRATCH
Data storage was a commodity. Until I helped build WD’s brand from the ground up—starting with their first-ever brand line, “Absolutely”—leading to brand lift and increased consumer preference, a larger share of the market, higher product price points, and a big jump in revenue.

WD had no social presence. I led the charge to build a content calendar around product launches, and oversaw (and wrote) creative for two years.

LAUNCHING NEW APP FEATURES
Lesser-known companies were having trouble attracting interest from highly qualified candidates, and we could see those top candidates weren’t clicking on those jobs. The company came up with the idea of Instant Interview so those candidates could actually meet someone on the spot, we created a campaign to promote it, and that led to an increase in high-value candidates applying to these companies.

CREATING A COMPLETE BRAND FOR A STARTUP
I left Saatchi to join a startup led by an Academy Award-winning producer. X4Y’s idea was simple: Sell unbranded (and brand-able) content to businesses. I led creative and also spearheaded creator outreach.
